At Hera Hub, we love celebrating the entrepreneurial journeys of our members, each with their own unique story of resilience, passion, and innovation. This month, we’re spotlighting Ramona (Mona) Aubry, founder of  Strong Again Wellness, a consultancy dedicated to helping businesses navigate one of the biggest transformations in modern marketing: the shift from traditional search to AI-driven search.

What was the inspiration behind your business?

My own journey. Living with chronic disease and reduced mobility taught me that the standard advice, eat less, push harder, do more cardio, doesn’t work for a body that’s already depleted or shifting hormonally. I had to learn a different way: strength first, strategic nutrition, real recovery.

When I came out the other side feeling capable and clear again, I realized how many women in their 40s and 50s were stuck in the same loop, doing everything “right” and still feeling worse. I built Strong Again Wellness to give them the strategy I wish I’d had, and I’m now building an app to put that strategy in the hands of women who can’t access 1:1 coaching.

Who are your clients and what do you do for them?

My clients are women in their 40s and 50s (many of them high-achieving professionals and leaders) who feel like their bodies have stopped cooperating.

They’re exhausted, carrying weight that won’t budge, dealing with brain fog, perimenopause or menopause symptoms, and the cumulative toll of years of pushing through.

Through 1:1 coaching and corporate programs, I help them rebuild strong bodies, restore steady energy, and protect their mental health using a method that combines strength training, metabolic nutrition, and intentional recovery, designed for what their bodies actually need at this stage of life. I’m also building an app that brings guided workouts, nutrition, and recovery tracking into one place, so more women can follow the method on their own time.

What are your business’ values? How do they align with your personal values?

Strategy over willpower, strength over restriction, and respect for what the body is actually doing at this stage rather than fighting it. Personally, I’ve had to live each of these. Chronic illness humbled me out of any belief that discipline alone is the answer, what works is the right strategy applied consistently, with grace for the body you have right now. I also deeply value honesty and accessibility: midlife changes are physiological, not a personal failing, and every woman deserves access to a strategy that actually fits her body, which is exactly why I’m building the app.

How/Why did you choose your business name?

“Strong Again” is the phrase I kept hearing from myself during my own recovery, and then from every client who walked through the door. They didn’t want to be someone new. They wanted to feel like themselves again, in a body that could keep up with the life they’d built. The name names the goal: not thinner, not younger, strong again, in body and mind.

What do you love most about your work?

Wearing every hat. As a solo founder, I’m the coach, the marketer, the content creator, the operations team, and now the product builder shipping an app. The work I’m best at ( actually coaching women) is only one slice of the day. Learning to protect that time while still building everything else is the hardest balance to strike, and it’s been amplified now that I’m building software alongside the coaching practice.

What are your/your business’ goals for the future?

To launch the Strong Again app and put guided workouts, nutrition, and recovery into the hands of thousands of women who’d never otherwise get this kind of strategy. The 1:1 work continues (that’s where the deepest transformations happen) but the app is how the Strong Again Method scales. Longer term, I want to expand into more corporate wellness partnerships and help make strength, metabolic nutrition, and recovery the default conversation for women 40+, not the exception.

What advice would you give to a new entrepreneur?

Build the business around the problem you’ve actually lived, not the one that looks most marketable. Your lived experience is your unfair advantage; it’s what makes your message land and your clients trust you. And start before you feel ready; clarity comes from doing the work, not from waiting for the perfect plan. I’m building the app right now from that same principle, shipping imperfect, learning fast, and trusting that the women I’m building it for will tell me what they need.
